Missed Dose Instructions

For Narcolepsy/OSA (Morning Dose)

If you miss your morning dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it's late afternoon. If it's late in the day, skip the missed dose and resume your normal schedule the next day.

For Shift Work Sleep Disorder

If you miss taking modafinil before your shift and your shift has already started, you may still take it, but be aware it may affect your ability to sleep after your shift ends.

Important: Never take two doses at once to make up for a missed dose.
